The collabos between established Wu-Tang artists on The Swarm were incredible, like Raekwon together with Masta Killah, Inspectah Deck and Street Life, RZA together with Killarmy and Method Man, and Hell Razah with Shyheim (all produced by RZA).
But the lesser known acts were shining, too.
Wu-Syndicate’s contribution did not win you over with esoteric sword swinging, but straight, emotional honesty.
Ruthless Bastards over the version of Ghost Deini that didn’t make it onto Supreme Clientele.

I love the fact that Raekwon and CNN have collaborated quite a few times during the last years, even if the resulting songs have been so-so.
This one, though, that I missed last year, is that shit; grimy, project hallway, back-and-forth rhyming, dope game folklore that we’ve learned to love and expect from these artists.
